Wing mirrors not folding when car locked

I've had my 2020 2.0 Corolla for about 3 weeks now, and the wing mirrors have always automatically folded in/out when locking the car. I've just popped out this morning and they didn't unfold until I got in and hit the start button, then they didn't fold in automatically when I locked the car. I was able to get them to fold/unfold manually when the car was turned on. I've double checked the toggle and it's definitely set to automatic, and the scroll is centred. Any ideas?

Nothing in that thread worked for me unfortunately, looks like it's a trip to the dealership!

I've heard a report from someone with the same issue - turned out that the switch in the door panel was faulty on theirs.
