Toyota Yaris petrol catalytic converter location

Hello, I am looking to buy a Toyota Yaris with a petrol engine and a manual gearbox for around £5000. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide information on the years in which the catalytic converter is susceptible to theft. Thank you very much for your assistance.

the 1.33 and 1.4d engines has cat fitted to the front behind radiators and those are impossible to steal. The other engines I am not sure. Any cat located under the car is an easy target.

Usually Yaris aren’t a target, the hybrids are common. Auris, Prius, Lexus etc

Yaris hybrid on the MK3 and 4 are between the firewall and engine

£5k gets you an early MK3 12-13 plate, if you are looking for an auto avoid the MK2 Yaris as they are all MMT (60-100k miles is prime time for major headaches)
