supposed to give him an extra 20% increase in power!!!!!!!!

it does 150mph at the mo, but thats limited!

gti-r's, quick cars. 0-60 in 4.4 secs. nearly bought one, until i saw just how dog ugly they are.
Still I would sooner have a supra or an rx7

same here, but when it comes to re-build time for the Rex i'd say "bye, bye" to it. :)

so in saying that i'd choose the supra ;)

4.4 secs? Standard? Don't think so. More like 5.6 seconds (or more).

there quicker than mine off the line, and i've been recorded doing a 4.95sec 0-60.

my mate had a black pulsar and i loved it and so did he.

I used to love going out in it with him and I have loads of respect for the fast little f**ker!!!

However and im no expert im going from what he told me. Gearbox and clutch are crap and standard brakes just won’t slow you down.

4wd sticks like glue

Loads of people say there ugly but I don’t think there too bad. His was black with black wheels red outside rim I loved it and he still misses it and since having it hes had a skyline r33 gtr, cossie (his wifes), evo6, lotus elise and exige but he still says he loved the pulsar.

I was tempted to buy it..i always wanted to try it out but never did. We got caught at 160 on the way back from stockley park and got away with it lol….

the only way he's going to get more than 150 out of it, is if he changes the gear ratio's. there not built for top end speeds.

but it's a Nissan Sunny ..

Yeah your right mate i suppose it is just a sunny, just like a cossie is just an escort :lol:

I agree .. Cossie's are just escorts .. and Evo's are just Carisma's ..

Both have a lot of engineering .. but I don't like them.

The last Sunny I was in had a Taxi sign on the top .. :P

hehe :)

No worries - I think the general opinion is that the GTiR's are decent wee cars ;)

I looked at getting a GTIR once, but then the other half said no way didn't want to look like she was going out with 'boy racer man',... 'like a nova and those other crap cars' was the comment...

I know they are damn fast, but they are ugly. :D

I very much doubt there would be anything in it down the straight compaired to a tubby, and the tubby will defo carry on when the brick aerodynamics have stopped the GTIR. ...and bet one would never keep up on track.

on a rally stage they'll have the tubby mind. :)

Horses for courses :)

you got a pic of your pulsar?

what spec is it etc? Just curious

Did we hit a nerve there?

I openly admit that Nissan Sunny GTiR's are flamin quick as standard, and when they're modified, they're awesome (I'm sure I already said something like that), but SO ARE MR2 TURBO's ffs!!!

I also know that stock, they don't make much more than 180bhp (at the flywheel), and that has to drive the 4 wheels. Quick they may be, but I know for sure my (very lightly tuned) MR2 GT Turbo can flay my mates GTiR that's similarly tuned.

Do yourself a favour ROSSGTIR... get your facts right, and stop charging so much for fares!:lol::lol:

Just a quick reply here, i hate it when muppets come along and say that a mr2 is a hairdressers car!!! what the..... If Toyota had decided to release the turbo'd version in england along side the 2.0l 16v injection model, the car would probably be one of the most saught after 2 seaters going!!!

Its people who dont know about the turbo version that say garbage like this!!

At the end of the day what would you rather be driving, a shed with 4wd and 180 etc etc bhp behing the wheels, OR a car that looks like a sports car and ohh has 220 bhp behind the rear wheels and as we all know adds to the excitment of the driving!!!

They should have called the car, Nissan RATS Pulsar, and advertised it as being the like the fat bird in the night club, ugly as sin but if you take her home goes like the clappers!! ha ha!!!

CASE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!
