Hi,

I have just bought an M reg Celica GT 2.0 with 195k on the clock!!

got it for £500 mind u :D

the car is really tidy for the mileage & only failed the MOT on some minor stuff.

however it needs a new clutch fitting, I have the clutch but was looking for some pointers on doing it??

one good point is I have access to proper garage facilities & a 2 post ramp.

one last question are the rear calipers prone to problems & are they expensive to replace as mine has siezed & i have a btraking imbalance

cheers :)

Welcome to TOC. That sounds like a bargain car you got there. :P . Why not buy yourself a Haynes manual from Amazon, they do one for Front Drive Celicas, covers the previous two versions too, its quite general but certainly good enough to help you with something like dropping the gearbox and clutch change. If you need replacement calipers you can get a good deal at http://www.brakesint.co.uk/enterflash.html

You can get a caliper overhaul kit too I believe from Toyota. Good luck with the repairs.
