2 secret hidden menus for Car and Audio.

Hold down CAR or SETUP button for 3 seconds, whilst holding, switch on/off tail lights 3 times.

you also have the 2 other menus

tap the marked spots - Left then right, Left then right, Left then right,

Nav menu

tap the marked spots - Top then middle, Top then middle, Top then middle

You can also do the Aux / A/V in mod

 

Pinouts. Aux or A/V in

Pin 13 - Video +

Pin 14 - Video -

Pin 25 - Detect - Wire to ground to activate A/V or Aux In

Pin 26 - Audio in, Right

Pin 27 - Audio in - Ground

Pin 28 - Audio in, Left

MM19 is the same as the MM17 I posted above

No the MM17 is touch screen only. The MM19 has buttons. The software is slightly different also as the MM17 unit does not support carplay.

MM17 and MM19 has buttons, MM21 is the Smart Connect aka TAS 600

what is the model number and version, IIRC the Prius used the MM16 up to 2022 what is the previous gen touch2, what I have posted the info on before, directly out of the service documents

Here is a pic of the head unit. I have owned a 2016  a 2019 and currently a 2022 Prius ( has the carplay update and wifi unit)
Prius (pre facelift 2019) sept 2016 - sept 2019 was like the pictures you show with touchscreen buttons…

Prius facelift sept 2019 - sept 2020 had no Carplay and wifi was optional upgrade and has buttons like this pic.

Prius Sept2020 - the last sale in UK (may ish 2022) has CarPlay and Wifi and looks like this pic.

Toyota website says my Prius is MY20 but head unit is MM19

i dont have a “Car” button 

any help to get into the secret menus would be much appreciated…
