Sat nav voiceover on Yaris Cross Excel

Can anyone tell me if it’s possible to either change the voice or adjust the speed in which the female voice talks on my sat nav please? Purchased a 2023 Yaris Cross Excel for my mother, but sadly she cannot understand a word the satnav is saying as she talks to you so fast. Really irritating!

I have a 2023 Yaris Cross Sol, (Irish market), and I quite often find it hard to understand the lady! 🙂. Never found a way to change her though.

Don’t get me started.  This is the work of a committee coupled with TGBs marketing contractor who are full of it.  They’ve sat down and listened to 50 voices and chose a third cousin of a royal school teacher.  She kicks up uninvited in the Lexus and says “attention, in one mile, standing traffic.  I’m through it by the time she’s said it.  It’s embarrassing.

I thought it was just me! I’ve just bought a Yaris cross excel 23 plate and have the same issue. She sounds like she’s been speeded up (or is on speed😳) and the directions are clipped so you don’t hear the first word of the directions. For eg.  Instead of “at the roundabout…” you just get “the roundabout…”  or sometimes just “roundabout…” haven’t found any way of adjusting it yet…
