Fuel Consumption

Wot do you SR owners get to a tank? I get around 270-280 miles to a full tank of fuel! is this right

i used to get about that out of the paseo but only now seen to get a varied amount of anything from 230-270.

I must stop enjoying beating little chav racers! :D

Thanks Guys! I thought that was a bit crap cos my old Saxo VTR used to do 300 to a tank n the tanks r about the same size! N that was modded quite abit!

I find that the starlet can be very good on the fuel if driving sensibly, i think full tank can last me up to over 2weeks... ish.

2 WEEKS, mine lasts me a week and thats without going anywhere on a night, i do 250 miles a week, but then again i do work in wakefield and im never in on a weekend

lol, depends how often u use it, i try keep track of the fuel consumption next time i fill up full tank.

my 5efhe gets around 320miles, and thats using around 9.4 gallons.

in the UK do you guys use the SAE system or the metric when it comes to this stuff? anyhow, I really thought something was wrong with my motor because of the miles i was getting. on my old 3ee i could get around almost 400miles babbying it, but the engine is not reliable.

I generally get between 180 -200 miles to a tank full to the brim.

the system here is completely messed up. technically speaking we are supposed to be metric but all road distances are quoted in miles.

Engine performance figures are quoted in Kw because they have to but also in imperial because a large proportion of the population can't handle metric.

to confuse stuff further. if anyone in england gives you a mpg figure, just remember its based on british gallons not imperial gallons

1 british gallon = 4.54 litres (I think)

1 imp gallon (US) = 3.785 litres (I know!)

Ive got a sportif and i get bout the same out of a full tank. Driving habits affect it alot and if i go on a long journey i can squeeze bout 300 mile. out of it.
