Coming to Toyota from VW (Touareg R-Line 3.0 V6TDi) but not new to Toyota as my wife has had 3 Aygo’s, including her current car.

We are consolidating to a single car which will do local and longer journeys and a Hybrid ticks the boxes for us.

Everything is a compromise but we both like the new C-HR for its styling, interior, drive and tech. The bi-tone paint is a bit Marmite but I’m about 90% with it.

Looking at 3-4 months delivery so hoping to learn something about running a hybrid for the first time.

Hi Neil,

Depending how many will be in the car, I had a lift from a friend in his C HR, sitting at the back was tight for me as tall and big man.

I owned few self charging hybrid like the Yaris, now the Estima and a Lexus RX400H, you will love it, you will save in fuel, no need to charge, waste money and time...

C HR are popular, and still lot on the roads nowadays.

Automatically the hybrid engine and the petrol one communicate with each other, and indeed I don't know at what speed the petrol will run more than the electric if not it does run at 100%....

Good luck and enjoy your new purchase!
