I sell quite a few AEM kits for other cars and they are of good quality although they tend to be tad expensive. They also have an oiled filter which may cause isues with the MAF having said that the filter is alot further away from the MAF with this design. If anyone wants to give one ago let me know.

Thanks

Kevin

sorry a bit off topic...

I just got my APEXi induction kit... very happy...

one question - do I have to oil the airfilter or just leave it as it is?

all the instructions were in japanese and that ain't my strongest side...

Apexi's are a dry filter, so there is no need to oil....... which means maintenance free!!!

Very good filter by the way!!

Mine's is essentially the same as ur's, airbox at front etc etc! The old 1.3's SR's in other words have their airbox in the same position as the T-Sport! Sum1 with more no how should be along soon!

The 1.5 and "old" 1.3 are both engines from the NZ-FE "family".

The 1.0 and "new" 1.3 are both engines from the SZ-FE "family".

Cheers, Yves.

NZ and SZ are designations that indicate a certain "family" of engines. All engines with that designation are based upon the same basic design. Like the 1.5 (1NZ-FE) and old 1.3 (2NZ-FE) are thus based on that same basic design.

The number in front of it indicates a "revision" of that design. The letters after the dash indicates things like turbo (T), supercharger (Z), fuel injection (E), design of DOHC head (G or F), ...

Cheers, Yves.
