Clicking noise from lock

I have an annoying high pitched constant  click click click noise emanating from my boot lock.

I have had a similar noise like a piece of thin metal on metal noise in 2 of my other Toyotas and the locks were replaced free of charge due to a recognised Toyota lock problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem with their door or boot locks?

Hey, I think I have only ever seen this once or twice before. Hopefully, this is equally covered under your warranty and should be replaced free as well. 

It's worth calling your local dealership and seeing if they can do the replacement for you, would be also worth asking if there's anything you could be doing that might cause it to click. Could be something a simple as trapping something in the boot lock area.
