Help Needed: 2015 Toyota Auris Boot Won't Open with Remote

Hi everyone, I'm facing an issue with my 2015 Toyota Auris where the boot won't open using the remote key. The lock button works fine, and I can manually open the boot with the button, but the remote control doesn't seem to work for the boot. Has anyone encountered this issue, and how did you fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Might be worth while looking at my post on 2011 Auris boot problem.  Different scenario but same area (still unsolved!)
