Hi folks. I need to do an oil/filter change on my 2006 Avensis. Is this easy enough or something for my local garage? Any guides of vids would be good. I've done it on an old VW T4 before which was easy enough but I'm no mechanic!

Hi Will, a few different names, oil filter cap wrench,Toyota oil filter replacement tool,are just two they sell them on eBay, Amazon etc.Hope this helps.

Hi, yes as stated above, pretty straight forward on my petrol 1.8 (not sure if yours is petrol or diesel). You WILL need the correct oil filter housing removal tool though, cheap enough but they can be on very tight so without the tool you chance a simple job becoming a nightmare if you break the housing!
