Oil Light Staying On Longer Than Usual!

Its like the title sais. It only happens sometimes but usually goes off quickly, sometimes when i rev the car then it never comes on while im driving, only (obviously) when im starting the car up.

Is this a sign of something to brake eg., oil pump. cheers!!

Hi,

Check your oil level, sooner rather than later! If low, add some oil to high level, if it's not low than have your oil pressure checked with a gauge. How long ago did you change the oil *and* filter?

My cars due a service but as far as i know the oil has just been changed! how do i check the oil pressure? cheers
