"i'm Not Having That"

So, i'm driving home from work the other day minding my own buisness when all of a sudden BANG. A learner has veered across the road and leathered my Wing Mirror breaking the cover. No real damage but i need to get a new cover.

Off to my local Toyota dealer

ME:-"Can you sort me out"

Dealer:-"Nah Bother Laddie"

ME:-"I'll pick it up Thursday"

Dealer:-"Aye YA Can do"

So off to the dealer i go this morning to pick up my shiny new Wing Mirror Cover.

What he actually gave me did resemble a Wing Mirror Cover and it was of a similiar colour but the paint finish was absolutely appalling!!!

It looked like my 2 year old niece had applied thepaint with her fingers.

Me:-"I'm not having THAT"

Dealer:-"Aye Laddie it could be better"!!!

Me:-"DO IT AGAIN"

Dealer:-"Och we will send it to a proper Body Shop they are better then us"

What can you say to that??? :censor: :ffs:

It did indeed. All I needed was an official engineers confirmation tha the turbos knackered, so I would have 3rd party written evidence in a small claims court.

Unfortunatetly they could net even do that, they happily did a visual safety check and faffed about etc, but failed to check what I asked them to check. When I complained they had a look and put the mechanic on the job on the phone, who clearly did not have a clue what he was doing, so I took the car out of their care!

They then tried to charge me £270 for doing nothing at all

I don't use any garage unless there is no other option.

With my old red supra years ago I let then finish fitting a clutch as I had put my back out (35ft drop! ouch!).. when I got it back and was driving it, the slave cylinder for the clutch fell off.. popped its piston out and wrecked it, and caused the car to voilently shoot forwards as the clutch bit... the reason???? They had only used on screw to hold it in, instead of two!!!

Our TSport has been back THREE times recently to the Toyota Dealer to repair minor damage to the driver's side.They messed up the paintwork on the passenger side and %$(ed up the alignment of the body panels in the front...geez

Dealer:-"UUUUHHH"

Me:-"I came in last week and you'd made a complete Spag Bol of it"

Dealer:-"MMMMMMMMUUUUGGHHH"

Me:-"You had to send it to a proper Garage. One that knew the zenith from the nadir"

Dealer:-"Och I know wat urr on about noo Ye Ken"

Me:-"Sweet Baby Jesus and the Orphans, you've got it"

Dealer:-"Dee yee want us tae fit it"

Me:-"Guess Again"

It looks allright now.

Only took Three Weeks. :o
