Hilux availability

Toyota UK website has removed pricing for the Hilux and put a banner saying limited availability. Anyone know what's up? New model coming?

Hi P, a new model coming this is a strong possibility. Car manufacturers often remove pricing and limit availability of outgoing models before releasing a new version. It creates a interest for the new car and clears out existing stock. There could be issues affecting Hilux production, like parts shortages due to global supply chain problems. This could limit the number of vehicles available and make it difficult to set a fixed price. Perhaps Hilux demand is unexpectedly high, leading to limited stock. Toyota might have removed pricing temporarily while they manage the situation.Whatever the reason I have always liked the Hilux but it not practical for us.

Thanks Bob. I was fishing to see if anyone had heard anything or had any insider knowledge. Could it be the new hybrid? Surely not. That's just a new drivetrain in the current model.
