DCM issues??

I've recently noticed that when I start the car, if it's been left for a period of time, the DCM icon in the multimedia display has a line through it, like it's not receiving a signal. After around 1 to 2 mins it's then reverts to a getting a signal. The eSOS button when it's doing this is green however suggesting it's received a 4g signal. It's due to have the DCM upgrade next week, that I was under the impression that had already been done, until dealer admitted they hadn't. Anyone else seen this issue, should the DCM upgrade cure it or is the module potentially faulty
