Remote control not working/doors are show as unlocked

Hi there. I just got my 24 C-HR Premiere Edition delivered 2 days ago. I have been playing with the app and had issues.

I note the remote control on the app don’t appear to work properly. I tried to lock the car remotely and it said it’s successful but when I tried to unlock - the E6 error message shows up. The doors/hatch are shown as locked when I press lock and the status goes to green tick. However it will go back to unlocked after a refresh/restarting the app. Obviously all the doors are locked.

Do others with the new C-HR have the same issue? Any fixes if so? I have tired to remove the car and add it back but it still does the same. Thanks in advance.

BZ4X here and the same issue with the app claiming that the doors are unlocked.

Hi there, I own a Toyota C-HR 2024 Premium since March 18, and the my Toyota app never gives the current notification of the doors (open or closed), but it does when I take a seat in the car and, for example, open a door. then the indication in the app is correct, but when leaving the vehicle it will not show in the app that the doors are closed, sometimes it does, but afterwards the app continues to show the status at that time in the past. Already reinstalled the app 100 times, without any results. anyone advice?

Luc, contact your dealer or Toyota.

My Dealer cannot help me, he claims that the app needs to be updated to solve this, even though it works completely with other sellers!

So far I have found the app completely useless. It doesn't seem to update the Battery status on my C-HR PHEV and none of the remote controls such as lock/unlock doors or open boot work. If I try to open the doors it connects and sends a request and then states it cannot unlock the doors as the alarm is on and the doors have been locked with the key. I lock the doors by pressing the handle button when the keys are in my pocket. Frankly, I have yet to find any use whatsoever for this app. it won't even allow me to register my Toyota HomeCharger although I have been told that an app update should soon solve that.  I haven't tried the climate controls as yet but don't have much faith in them.  Annoyingly, at least 50% of the time when I get into the car it fails to load my profile when my phone is right there and wants me to input my password again. 

Fortunately, the charging scheduler in the car seems to work as I have just switched my power supply to an EV tariff and want to charge at night.
