Hello everyone,

I have a bit of a problem here, maybe some of you have encountered something like this.

PROBLEM:

Check engine light is on, OBD shows an error:

  • P0200 Injector Circuit/Open

Engine starts, but runs roughly, can hear injectors knocking. Tried disconnecting injectors connectors, the car is still running (no change)
when disconnecting 1 and 4 injector (photo below), but if 2 or 3 is disconnected, the car shuts down.
However, tried unscrewing them a bit, diesel pours out of every single one.
Tried checking wiring with multimeter on disconnected connectors - 0.00V from injector driver to connector, but the wires are ok.

CAUSE?:

There was a small short circuit while working on the car some time ago before this problem, then it appeared when we started the engine.
Could this short circuit damage the injector driver and now the two injectors dont get a signal from the driver?

Thank you for your time

check the resistance of the injectors, check the grounds and power wires back to the EDU

cracking the fuel lines loose just shows you have fuel to the injectors

Thank you for the reply, I will try checking these
i've read that somewhere around 13-14 ohms is a good resistance?
and by checking the power wires and ground wires - negative to the connector, positive to the Battery?

Checked the injectors resistance, all the same reading.

Checked wiring, every pin on this connector (connector on the left in photo 1) would give 12 volts, except the last one, its 0.02 volts or 0 volts. Dunno what that pin is for.

Tried different injector driver module, no difference.

Tried different ECU, no difference.

Codes erased on ignition - engine starts, runs for about 10-15 seconds, check engine comes up, 2 injectors stops working

Photo 2 (the last pin - 8th gives 0 volts)
