Good grief and I thought the colours for the Yaris were dear!

Is that some sort of pearlescent metallic satin iridescent paint or something!?

Yes the red is nice but costs £950 more than the Black which I think is a bit naughty

My goodness that’s expensive

Paint prices are based on 'current fashion/popularity in that market' - ie. gouge the customer.

I realised this a few years back when I discovered that company X (I don't recall which) in the UK had white as a standard 'free' colour for a model, but in a different (warmer as it happened) market white was a premium, extra-cost colour and some of the UK premium colours were 'free'.

Over the decades I've seen black bounce around from being standard to premium and back at least one cycle and probably more.

Yes it premium crystal red metallic, I'd want it Gold plated for that money 😉

My YC Premiere is in "Urban Khaki", all other colours were extra. Fortunately we liked it in that colour, although didn't like the RAV4 when they offered it on that.

I did consider a Jazz, but my wife said I'm not old enough. I'm 71.....

If you go to the bathroom more than 3 times every night, you are old enough 😁

Depends what for though... I had friends that would be like that after a particularly rough night out...! :fear:

Maybe they're just wild party animals too!

Apparently in Asia the Jazz is a young persons car which they ‘upgrade’ and customise a lot

I think it’s only in the UK it’s seen as only for the older generation

Actually I don’t care how it’s perceived as I like it a lot and think anyone in the market for a Yaris should at least test drive the Jazz just to see what’s on offer; you might be pleasantly surprised

My comment about going to the bathroom was in jest.

My ex has a Jazz and loves it. She has had it for about 4 years and it has been totally reliable.

The Jazz will be on my shortlist of cars when I part/ex my VW tcross 1.5 r-line in 3 years.................along with a generation 3 (sound proofed) 150hp Yaris Cross.

I’ve noticed a lot of driving instructors now have Yaris and Yaris cross
