Any Recommended Insurance Companies For Prius Alpha Imports?

Hi all,

In preparation for my import arriving, I have started to get some 'rough idea' quotes from insurer's. The cheapest quotes I'm getting so far are around the £1000 mark, despite having 4 years no claims to use on this vehicle and 20+ years on my other car.

Please can anybody recommend any more reasonably priced insurers to me, based on the experience with imported cars?

 

FYI - I've tried adrian flux already, as well as direct line, quote me happy and the well-known comparison sites

Just be aware that car insurance has generally had some high premium increases over the past 9 months or so.

Yes, I'd heard about that but hadn't see it yet myself with my 3 current imports

£1000 it’s not too bad, all depends of personal circumstances but generally speaking insurance premiums raised sharply lately as mentioned. Aviva directly from their website offered best price for me.
