What Is A Facelift Model?

When looking through adds, the odd uk car will say - rare face lift model. What is that?

They are probably talking about the revision changes, biggest one was Rev 3 I think with the diffrent rear lights and spoiler, the Rev 5 was the last with yet another diffrent spoiler and clear lenses on the front I think, someone will correct me!

One of the forums pinned above lists all the revision changes in detail, I think they are for the imports, but the UK one was similar........
