Engine making noise

My Toyota auris 2010 hybrid, the engine is quiet on idle but when accelerating it makes a knocking sound but silence on idle pls I need advice

Hi Uduak, Does the knocking noise start when you rev the engine or only when in gear and driving. Does it happen all the time or occasionally. Has this just started or have you noticed this noise before.?.

How soon after the last service did this noise start  ?

The sound clip is to short, also how can you be accelerating when the bonnet is up making the recording? Do you mean when you just rev it?

The 'knocking' sounds to be something turning at a very very low speed which I can't just figure out.

What is the mileage on the car? 
Has it ever had egr system cleaned? 
When was last serviced? 
The noise is from your clutch but the reason for it is a misfire. You need to figure out what causes that and fix it. Most common reasons are egr blocked, poor fuel quality, dirty injectors, bad spark plugs or coils. 
There is ton of information online including YouTube videos about these noises, how to diagnose and fix them. Don’t leave it like that as there are usually more issues that can occur.

The mileage is 87,000 I have never clean the EGR , the knocking sound only comes up when the engine starts working, when it's in gear it's sounds okay but as soon as the engine starts working then the knocking sound will come up and the engine will be jerging

Lol that is actually very bad noise. 
It sounds to me like a broken clutch damper plate, the springs has gone. 
Gain access under the car , make sure car is off and there is small plastic cap on the bottom of the transmission, opposite the  engine side open and see if any metal parts are laying at the bottom of he transition housing. This small inspection window is where the flywheel is.
