Simple query to first generation Prius owners!

Hi,

I've a 2009 Prius and wanted a small confirmation from anyone with a Prius from that era.

Do all the lights on the dashboard light up when you start the car and then settle down to normal dashboard lights ? By that I mean if the warning lights including the dreaded Red Triangle also come on at start up ?  Just wanted to confirm it's normal! Having some problems my 12 volt Battery and wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Many thanks.

2009 is Gen2.

AFAIR, all lights come on at the start. If any don't come on, then the warning light has failed.

It’s normal. All lights comes up on dashboard when starting the car+and then they all should go off. Late 2009 can be also a gen3 from the very first ones, on 59 plate, or early 2010 same number.

All lights except the Master Warning Light (Red Triangle).

It's a check to ensure the warning lights are functional.

The MWL can be checked by opening the driver's door with the car in D.
