Has anyone ordered the US spare wheel ? I am guessing it is way too expensive due to P&P  charges ? When I was watching a You Tube clip I noticed the US model (RAV 4 5th gen)  has a neat spare wheel and then the charge lead neatly within the polysterene base. All looked great, far better than the inflator kits we have here in the UK.

Or am I mistaken ?  Can we get a copy here in the UK ?

Never managed that, the best I could do was a non OEM tyre space saver and tools. I made up my own packing which has worked fine for the three years I’ve had the car.

Hey thanks, it'd be way too much to import the US spare wheel to the UK. But I'd like to purchase the styrofoam insert and buy a local space save tyre etc. The US insert is neat as it allows good storage from what I have observed and you roll the type 2 lead into the centre area?

Never managed to buy the insert, some have I think, my dealers would not, or said could not order me one for the PHEV. If you manage to order one please post details.

Hi, if you haven't resolved your issue; one other option is to buy a dense, fire-retardant foam block, cut your own measurements.  The likes of foam4u.co.uk offer that service.
