my AHB does not work in the presence of even spubik street

Interesting word 'spubic'. How many readers grabbed their dictionaries?

The intended word was perfectly ordinary but this site insists on changing it to 'spubic'. This ordinary word is apparently corrupted in the site dictionary. I've tried several ways of expressing it but without success. An alternative is 'feeble'.

Another way of expressing the original word is 'sp@rse' but that set me to analysing the reason for the change. I conclude that the last four letters are picked up as a 'rude' word but, are the last five letters of 'spubik' any less questionable?
