Anyone want to buy a repaired slam panel top cover?

If you read the debacle I caused myself with replacing the horn, you'll know I broke the slam panel top cover that fits above the radiator. I got a new one from Japan at £94 delivered, which was a lot cheaper than Toyota UK wanted.

Anyway, I bought a plastic weld kit and my first plastic weld attempt was on the broken one, using wire mesh to reinforce the crack. Feels and looks functionally good, can twist it and it doesn't split. Course it looks like a !Removed! cos of the melted plastic, but I am hoping I can sell it for less than 1/3 what Toyota UK want for a new one.

Who knows, maybe someone will buy it cos it's under the bonnet unseen.

I just have to wait until the luggage scale arrives to get the weight of it in a box.

I used slivers of the plastic elsewhere on this panel as the filler for the crack and mesh.
