Yes, it's located on the front side of the engine, right under the intake manifold at the number 3 cylinder.

Problems?

Cheers, Yves.

It detects what is pre-ignition or detonation, which gives a sound like two metal cans being knocked against eachother. Basically it's the fuel that is being burn't before the sparkplug is being ignited due to overcompression, excessive heat or carbon deposits glowing inside the cylinder on a carbon-fouled sparkplug or exhaust valve.

Well, yvvan, there isn't a problem at the moment. But something that I'm planning would definitely run a lot smoother if the engine could !Removed! its own ignition... :D

Now all I've got to do is figure out a way out of getting a fresh, pressurised oil feed (I'm thinking through the oil-pressure switch hole) and a place to dump it (I don't know how far up the sump the oil sits at the moment)
