I use a Meguiars supreme microfibre towel to dry mine. It’s a large one that absorbs a lot of water. The water here is very hard, so you have to dry it to avoid marks.

I had a white car fairly recently, it was great for not showing the stone chips but showed the dirt badly so had to be washed a lot.

my favourite Toyota colour is a special silver, sterling silver. My own is normal metallic silver but the sterling really shines in the sun.

silver seems to be a good colour for hiding the dirt, the roads here have mud on them in winter so just a short drive can get the car dirty from spray.

I don't know Rap's cloth but got some thick 1ftx2ft from Temu (might get a larger one) and after a heavy rain shower on a fairly clean car, ie not needing to wash, I wiped the rain off.

I was amazed how much water it absorbed and had to wring it out several times.

Need to be careful where that rain came from though, Sahara rain aint good.

My paintwork seems generally good but there is a strange effect on both sides of the bonnet in certain lights. It almost looks like the paint has run and there is a very mild 'rippling' appearance.

Had to go into the dealers yesterday and thought I would mention the paint but looked at other 'metallic' Corollas in the showroom and the orange peel / rippling down the sides of the bonnet appears to be standard issue😗. None of the other models had the problem. Maybe good old British workmanship🤣
