Tyre Pressures

Hey Guys n gals,

Wot are the best tyre pressures to run for best handling? I run bout 33psi all round at the mo on standard SR wheels with 195/45 VR 15 Yoko A539,s up front and Eagle F1`s at the rear.

if you've got wider tyres than the box stock car which i believe is 145mm. then you should be running lower pressure because you've got a bigger contact patch.

33psi sounds over inflated to me. you wanna get it so there is a very slight bulge on the bottom of the tyre.

you should just remember that part of your cars suspension system is the tyre (which absorbs shock), if its overinflated it will cause more damage to your shock absorber and also wear your tyre down the middle badly.

The SR has 195`s as standard! So wot do people with SR`s or SR wheels run there tyre pressures at?

i havent seen the pressure for starlet sr's listed in any manuals,i run my pressure's at 30psi and my tyres have seem to wear pretty evenly
