Smart Connect + SatNav map update

Hi I have tried to update the Smart Connect + SatNav in my 2023 Corolla. When I click on Map update the display says " there is a problem Contact Dealer" . The dealer say they have updated the map and fixed this, but it still comes up with this message.

Also when I try to access the estore maps the website says make sure Navigation Device is registed but without any help as to how this is done.

I Have paired the Smart connect using the QR code and my phone in the MyToyota App registered to my account.

Also the Navigation planning  in the MyToyota app opens but doesnt allow any route planning or offer to send to car.

Anybody got any Ideas?

☝️ also means "there is no update at present, so don't worry about it"

Ive had the same issue about the contact dealer message on my 2023 Corolla with over the air updating. It confused the technicians at the local dealer who had it back for a day after being unable to sort it during a service. Then they realised that is just meant there was no update available. A complete waste of everybodies time.

Re the Toyota app and "send to car" function not working.  I had the same frustration when I bought the car and but diligently I read the car manuals and found on page 153 of the Navigation Manual (Date: 2023-01-16 | Part No: PZ49X-12Q74-EN)  reference to an app called NaviBridge which is the replacement and although it's a bit clunky does a better job than "send to car".  see attachment.

The dealer hadn't got a clue about this.
