Cancel Door Beeper

If you want to listen to the radio etc you have to turn AUX on which activates the door alarm when open, if you for example want to keep cool you open the door and the alarm goes.

For 15 yes I put up with it in my old Avensis, and the same logic applies on my new Corolla. Can this be prevented.

perhaps sequence like this will solve it

lock the car-->unlock it-->open door-->turn on things you want.

After opening the door, press the little black rubber circular "button" that's about halfway down the door jamb. It will immediately cancel the beeping until you close and re-open the door.

This tip works on many Toyota, you should have asked 15 years ago 😜

Also be safer to leave the vehicle in READY mode & not auxiliary to listen to the radio else you risk flattening the 12 volt Battery
