Any help would be appreciated please

If you plan to keep the car for another year or so......

If you are worried about running out of fuel ......

If it annoys you ......

If you can afford the cost .....

The decision really is easy.

Hi Haych,

If you are keeping the car and you know that it's good on fuel......Don't worry!

As I've said before, I run my little fella on the odometer, fill up, reset the odometer to zero and watch that, not the fuel gauge.  I always fill up between 250 and 300 miles but I know that I can get 400 miles from a tank without trying too hard.

The fuel gauges on the Aygo/107-8/C1 have always been about as reliable as a politician's promise and you will just get used to it.

Yes the sender unit might have developed a fault and yes, the tank float might be stuck but I might win the lottery this week as well. 😉

As I say, don't worry about it and just enjoy driving your car, they really are loads of fun! :driving:

All the best.

Cheers Haych,

I always run mine on Shell V-Power, so it's nippy enough for me without the Redex😉

The Aygo has always been like a little go-kart, that buzzy 3-pot, 1 litre engine can deliver....Easy cruising at 70mph on the motorway (I'm sure it can go faster but, of course, I've never tried!!!! ) and it handles a treat on A and B roads.

Great little cars, that's why I've kept mine so long....I just can't part with the little fella!

All the best.
