Ok, for those in the US dunno if ull get this, but in aus we have leaded fuel, like pre 1980s wide use, and unleaded fuel used often more today. now we are going on a trip a fair way cept our jerrys are filled with leaded fuel and the hilux runs unleaded. would driving it with leaded kill it? itd be a richer fuel so itd run better, but what would be the downfall? TY

Dont do it .It will clog the cat up and hell knows what other problems .

Ill assume you got some free fuel and want to use it as unleaded is easily obtainable in remote areas.

Just not worth the risk

If you Hilux has a cat converter and you put leaded in, you will kill the cat!

is that all? coz as it is, it may not make rego in november from a semi collision to the side which where attempting to fix.....

yeah friend bought the wrong fuel.... :blink:

never get a boy to do a mans job, lol

who am i to speak tho mixing fuels :)
