I have a 1995 2.2 automatic lucida emina and the overdrive does not appear to be working in low range.Also the the overdive light on the dash doesn't work. does anyone know if this could be a simple electrical fault or could it be more expensive?

I thought the overdrive only kicked in when 2nd & 3rd gear were engaged, I have a hiace 3.0 supercustom and that is how mine works.
