New Celica owner

Hi everyone.

This weekend I got my dad's celica back on the road after sitting in the garage for 6 years.

New Battery and new fuel and it started 1st time no hesitation. Passed MOT with no advisories. 2004 celica VVTI 10,000 miles on the clock.

It is like a brand new car, never seen a drop of rain, even has the new car smell inside too.

Now just have to wash the dust off and give it a good wax and polish

Look forward to having a dig round the forums.

Very nice. Be careful over stressing the clutch. My brother in law blew two hooning around.

No worries about that my hooning days are behind me. 🤣🤣

The photos really don't do it justice, it's like it just came off the factory line. Will have to look into shows and see if I can get to some this year

I hope you primed the engine first before starting it. A lot of damage can occur during the initial start-up of a car that has been standing for so long, as another Celica owner found out to his cost.

Anyway, hello and welcome!
