Aygo Blue 2010 Bluetooth How to Use

Hi, we have just got our son a 2010 Toyota Aygo Blue and cannot figure out how the bluetooth works! As I understand it, bluetooth did come as standard with this model and it has a little panel up behind the rearview mirror. It doesn't look like any of the pictures I have found online, but it is similar to the Parrot device.  Anyway, all we can get it to do is say 'connecting' when we press one of the buttons with a green light, but it doesn't connect and we can't get it to do anything else!  I also can't find a manual anywhere online to tell me how it works! Maybe it's disconnected, who knows but I am hopeful in so far that it does say it's connecting!

If anyone has any instructions/manual for the device I would really appreciate it, can't find anything in the cars user manual.

Following as my son has the same car. He's replaced his radio with a cheap bluetooth, non CD radio from eBay as it links to his phone where all his music is stored

Hi,  l got a separate manual for the operation of Bluetooth  with my 2011 Aygo Blue.  And you are correct in that it was standard.

I do have the pdf version which I must of got from the Toyota-tech site many years ago.

Hopefully I've attached it correctly <fingers crossed>

With it saying connecting, it may be looking for its previous masters phone. May be an idea to clear it first.

Good luck

Wow that's amazing thank you and yes that is exactly the one we have!  I took it to our local Toyota dealership yesterday saying exactly what I said here and the guy said it was definitely not an original Toyota factory fitted device!! I was sure it was, thank you so very much and yes I think you are right - it is trying to connect to the previous owners phone!

The dealer is right it wasn't factory fit but it is what Toyota term as "Port of entry" this means it was fit in the UK by Toyota GB.

These units are a Motorola and were STD fit to some editions like the Blue and also available in the Toyota accessories brochures.
