Roof Bar for 2006 Estima with sunroof recommendations

Hi All, 

We need some help, we want a roof box and have a 2006 Estima import with a Sunroof and wanted to know if anyone has managed to get a roof box attached. We have a friend who deals with Thule and they said that he can't find a link on their site? I did see a man in Barnstaple and he has an Estima with Thule roof bars but said that the brackets where universal. Any advice is welcome where we can buy the brackets from????

Yes, Thule roof bars and brackets are universal. The brackets attach to a vehicle using a vehicle specific footplate adapter. These are relatively hard to come by for an Estima.

Not impossible though.

I’m guessing your sunroof is a skylight and doesn’t move?

Yes its a skylight, 

I have found these, the Estima that I saw with a Roof Rack had these clips that look like they hook round but they has Thule bars. Just don't know where to get these clips from???

Sorry they had Thule bars - these look unbranded (not sure how good they will be) and they are on eBay for £229
