Hello all, I am hoping to bring my 2018 Hybrid Camry to Ireland in a few months, is it possible to convert the headlamps from RHD to LHD?

Thanks, Mike D.

If you're taking the car from the US (LHD) to Ireland (RHD), surely the conversion would be LHD to RHD.

Thanks, yes being braindead here, and then the same question applies, is it a big deal to convert the headlights from LHD to RHD on our 2018 Camry Hybrid, it's got low miles would be a shame not to be able to use the car in Ireland.

Thanks again. Mike D.

You could probably replace the pods with RHD ones but would be an expensive route.

What kind of headlights are they? If halogen, could just fit some beam deflectors. If projector type, you probably wont need to do anything as they have a flatter beam pattern.

If it's one of those fancy matrix ones they might not need changing either

Thanks for the feedback, seems like I need to understand more about the lights in the car to begin with. MD

A quick and dirty way of checking is to park the car in front of a flat single-coloured wall and turn the dipped beams on - If the light pattern is quite flat/horizontal you're okay and won't need to do anything, but if it shines high on one side then you will need some modification
