GR Sport Head-up Display

Would it be possible to take the HUD unit from a GR Sport Corolla model and install it into my lower trimmed Icon Tech Corolla model?

IIRC the windscreen is also different on models with HUD

It is theoretically possible but a huge amount of work - For starters you'd need to cut a hole in your dashboard for it, and then there's all the mounting and cabling and probably another ECU that needs to be integrated.

I'm not sure about the windscreen - On the earlier cars like the Prius, the HUD cars had a special glass; If you used a normal windscreen you'd get a double-image.

However, my Mk4 Yaris just has a normal Mk4 windscreen - I asked when mine got cracked and apparently there is only one type of windscreen for the Mk4, no HUD-specific ones.
