Sat Nav Layout

I have a right-hand drive BZ4X Vision and whilst I love it, the layout of the Satnav is driving me nuts.

It was clearly designed for the left-hand model as all the useful information - Time to Arrive, Distance to go, junction details on m-ways and also the popup when coming to a junction are all on the left hand side of the screen! Whilst my distance vision is good and even with biggest size font selected - I can't read the Time to Arrive & Distance text.

I have seen a screenshot of an Australian BZ4X and they seem to have the SatNav layout out the way I need it with all that info on the right of the screen, so it just needs an eye flick to see it :

Why does my UK car have the layout the wrong way? Is it possible to get it changed? I cannot find anything in the settings.

I'd also be interested in this and have also seen New Zealand vehicles with the MMI layout reversed, but can't see anywhere in the set up that allows the user to change it?
