DPF Full see manual on 2 litre diesel RAV 4 (2014)

Hello All,

My Rav 4 says the DPF is full see manual, but no warning lights are on in the dash.

Any ideas how to fix as I dont have a manual!!

The key to getting a regen complete is to:

1. Drive for long enough to get the engine up to normal operating temperature - 10 - 20 minutes is usually more than enough - and then ...
2. Drive for at least 30 minutes with the engine operating at above 2000 rpm - speed is not so important, engine rpm is. That could be down the motorway at 70 mph in top gear or along A roads at lower speed in a lower gear.

The important thing is to sustain higher than normal revs for a reasonable period to allow the system to get hot and burn off the 'soot'.
