Hi Guys, I'm a newby here but not new to Toyota. Bought a Space Cruiser recently and looking for a clutch kit for it, not easy to find now, it seems!!

Any good leads or info on where to buy such a thing would be appreciated.

I've heard lots of info from different sources, like: The clutch is the same as the petrol Hilux 1.8 (also not available) and it's the same as a 2.4 diesel Hilux?? Unlikely I would think. Never had this much problem just finding a clutch before....... HELP!

Thanks in advance, Steve

Hello and welcome, Steve.

Ask a Toyota dealer for the clutch kit part number and it should make it easier to find one.

Anything over 20 years old is a mare to find some parts, especially if it JDM - iirc the space cruiser is a liteace/tarago

Blueprint is a good source

drop me a PM with your frame/VIN i can easily look items up

engine wise on an 88 will be the 2.0 2C diesel or 2.0 3Y petrol

Pressure plates can be ordered, throw out bearing not a problem, the clutch maybe a case of having it re-lined

They may be able to supply a kit or refurb your existing
