Interior door protection

After being a car owner for a few months, I have realised a terrible habit. I always tend to kick the door open from the inside with my foot.

Does anyone know of anything that can be used to cover the interior door panel to help protect it or of anything that could help?

Cut off the foot if its automatic then you can still drive with the other one 🤣😆. Seriously though you can using a strong adhesive tape stick a bit of hardwearing material on the the door.

A simple piece of rubber with double sided tape would do the job and when you pull it off, no marks 👍

A bit like a rubber car mat or door mat, but you want something really thin.

Hopefully you don't do this when parked alongside another car or when a car or cyclist passing .......

I was driving down the road the other day and someone used this method and obviously did not check behind them first for any oncoming traffic.  I nearly took their door off, no kidding !!

I think she was attempting to perfect impact welding at one stage.  She knew she’d been heavy handed when I asked “is it shut?”

Maybe put a piezo-electric plate on the door, so the harder you kick it, the more it electrocutes you! That'll help train out that behaviour. It's Genius I tell you!!
