MyToyota service history explanation

Hi all,

Recently took ownership of a lovely little 2021 Aygo. I was just looking through the service history and saw the following noted a few days before I picked it up. Anyone know what RAC means? Everything I look up takes me to RAC recovery

Mileage: 5912

Details:  RAC, AC SERVICE, 12V Battery, Handover Pack

Ah maybe that's it. Could be an OBD read and confirm as part of the pre-handover inspection.

Honestly I am not sure. I presumed that was the case but didn't think it would be needed on a 3 year old car with 6k miles. I did pop the hood to look at the Battery but couldn't see any date codes on it so none the wiser really.

Dealer didn't tell me they had done any of that. Only thing I asked them to do before I picked it up was to check the clutch position and a recall that was showing on the Toyota UK recall check website (don't know what for and it's gone now).

I did get a new Toyota safety kit (warning triangle and first aid kit in a black bag) that they told me about when I picked it up, but that was it.

UK motor dealers are not allowed to sell a vehicle to a customer with an outstanding safety recall.

DVSA can prosecute the motor dealer if they don't have the outstanding safety recall carried out before handover. 

That will be why the recall has now vanished as the dealer will have carried it out.
