Differences between 2015 1.5 Hybrid and 1.8 hybrid

Hi,

Does someone know the differences between both engines , gearboxes and Battery?

If you compare the 2015 Yaris 1.5 Hybrid and a prius 1.8 hybrid.

For example, is the engine the same quality, only smaller? Same gearbox? Same Battery technique (* only smaller capacity ) ?

I would expect Toyota to have put the same technology and quality levels into all their cars, regardless of model - the caveat to that being that this can vary somewhat between entry level and top of the range models.

You compare the 2015 Yaris 1.5 hybrid to (what year?) for the Prius 1.8 hybrid.  Technological development for cars of a later year are normal results of progress.  

For a better understanding of the differences, it might pay to search on line for reviews of the models by the motoring press/organisations.  Parkers might be a good start.
