Hello, I've narrowed the Yaris model down to a 2021 Design however looking at the 2021 Toyota Yaris Brochure it mentions the Dynamic which is a model up from Design has 'Height-adjustable Driver & Front Passenger Seat'. (picture attached)

Silly question but, does it mean that the Design model, you can't adjust the height of the seat? Seems bizarre if that is the case, never seen a car that you can't adjust the height of the seats.

Thank you

Ah nevermind, found the answer to my question, only driver is height adjustable, not passenger on the design.

That’s right. Driver seat adjustment are all that matters. 👌

That's a bit sweeping. Some people have vertically challenged passengers who like to be able to look out of the windows, or elderly ones who struggle to get their bums off low seats.

It can be a big deal.

get the best spec you can afford, parking sensors (city pack) are well worth getting

You too?? I thought my passengers were just being rubbish, as they always seem to have trouble finding the inside door handles. It's so frequent I'm half tempted to try and find some aftermarket chrome ones to swap them for

Or maybe I should just stick some retro-reflective tape on them.

It doesn't help that Toyota chose to omit a rear interior light...! It can be super dark in the back between the no-light and tinted windows.

The passenger seat issue was very important to me

My wife is under 5ft and when we tried a Yaris Design and it was almost impossible for my wife to see out

The Excel had a very good hight adjustment range

So it was a no brainer to order the Excel

Ah, yes i went down the rabbit hole a few weeks ago I couldn't find chrome handles to suit, but I didn't look that hard but all doors can have illuminated window switches what are on when the ignition is - can you see where I'm going with this !

Good grief you're as bad as anchorman!

No, wait, BRING BACK THE NEONS!!!! :naughty:

Colour-cycling RGB lit door handles, under and back-lit! Yes! A Disco on your doorhandles! I'm sure Rhymes With Paris would appreciate that aesthetic!

...

...I think I just made myself sick a little  :fear:

Going slightly of topic as I often do

Its fine to say, this and that, should be included but there is a cost implication

Many years ago when I was training as a production engineer one of our lecturers used to work for Fords at Dagenham

When they valued engineered a car they were looking for savings as little as 1 old penny per car

Even this taken thought the whole production process this this could result in a saving per car of up 20 pennies

If we now reverse that would we really want to pay extra for all the goodies we thought were a good idea and that had probably been taken out to keep the purchase cost a low as possible

I can't stand RGB, keep it subtle it only needs to be ambient light a blue, amber or warm white

We had a mini a few years ago which had many options for ambient colours and cycling. Entertaining for about 2 days but pretty quickly set it to a constant dimmish white.

Oh yes!

And even better if they are chaser lights, multi coloured, and flashing too.

well if it was only 20 pennies I would, but the problem is they would increase that 20 pennies to 2000 pennies to make a profit 🙂
