Are you thinking of taking one off a 202 salvage car? You'll have problems trying to find new Toyota parts.

Rear Brake, No.1

ST202 - 47321-20380

ST205 - 47321-20390

basically yes, obvioulsly it would have to be in good enough condition

which is going to be difficult due to the age of these cars

or use it for a template to get one made up, or other possible solution

is repair the section of line, which would probably be better, as the car is

currently not on the road to take to a work shope to copy the one on there

If it's just badly rusted along a short section, best way would be to splice in a piece of copper-nickel (Kunifer) brake pipe.

from the EPC it says the line is the same part number for 205 and 202

but as said think that reparing the quite small section is the way to go

been looking on what i takes to make/flare lines, doesnt seem so hard would need a flaring tool also any advise with regards to the actual fittings needed, M10 for the nut going into the flexi?

the section from the rear right needs doing so the nut attatched to the flexi and some minor bending and the actual joiner needed

would be very gratefull for any advise or recommendations

correct the basic EPC diagram only shows the the actual line number

Clicking/tapping the number reveals a pop-up with the full part number.

very frustrating when looking for a select part to have corresponding number, which in reality are not compatible

thanks for the confirmation, unfortunatly im working of EPC diagrams and not the actual EPC catalouge, as i dont have access to one

which is obviously not ideal

I'm using the online EPC.

...would need a flaring tool...

I bought this to repair my brake lines. Got a perfect flare the first time I used it - (did a test piece first).

Thanks for the info, was the tool im looking on getting

would be a great help if you could confirm the fittings required, i believe the flare is a (double flare) also the nut connecting to the flexi is a 10M

also a suitable joiner, id be very interested to know how you did the process, as in bleeding the brakes and whats involved, or would it be better to start a new post specific to replaceing a section of brake line   Thanks

Here are the fittings that I bought.

One side screwed in finger tight.          Mini tube cutter.

Workshop manuals: http://gt4.mwp.id.au/

The brake bleeding process should be covered in the 205 chassis & body manual.

This is a good time to upgrade the rubber "flexi" brake lines to Goodridge, Hel, braided hoses.
