2006 2.0 D4D Corolla e12 - Cruise Control

Hi guys!

I've recently purchased a 2006 2.0 D4D Corolla e12. It has the fly-by-wire throttle and has the correct wiring for Cruise Control. I purchased a steering wheel from a Rav-4 of the same era with cruise control already fitted. After fitting this steering wheel and airbag the cruise control light ignites on the dash so I'm certain that the cruise control ECU and wiring are present in the car.

I have not road tested the cruise control yet but I don't believe it will work (maintain or hold speed) because I lack a clutch switch. The clutch switch provides a constant 12V supply to the cruise control ECU until the clutch is depressed. When depressed, the clutch switch cuts this 12V supply and cancels cruise control as detailed below thanks to a wiring diagram.

 

 

Now my question is here: I can source a clutch switch and there is space to install it on the clutch mechanism but I cannot locate the plug for it under the dash. Can anyone on here 1. Provide a location and photo of the plug for the clutch switch? 2. Provide a photo and location of the Cruise Control ECU?

Below is a photo of the wiring diagram showing the clutch switch and the colours of the wires supplying it:

 

 

If I cannot install the clutch switch with the factory plug I will wire in my own 12V supply to the switch and bring this 12V from the switch to pin 4 of the Cruise Control ECU as is detailed in the text from the wiring diagram above so long as I can find the actual Cruise Control ECU.

Any insight and help would be sincerely appreciated, hopefully I have provided enough information here, if not, please ask.
