Ok so my toyota Iq has been running perfectly for 4 years, a month ago problems began. I’ve sent it to the mechanic bcs it shakes a lot, since it returned it stopped randomly numerous times. Sent it back again alternator was ruined so I bought a new original one & they replaced it. Yesterday they returned it to me and the drivers side window switch was blinking, it wouldn’t open or close. Then it opened, but now I cant close it. The passenger window works but when I close it all the way it goes back to the middle, if i go bit by bit I can close the passenger window. I tried to restart it by following suggestions but it doesn’t work. The motors for the windows work perfectly i don’t think it’s that. I’m losing my mind here because the replacements and fixes cost me more than the toyota iq itself, pls help 😞

disconnect the Battery for 15-20 minutes and let things reset if the car has been sat in the sun the window rubbers can go sticky give them a good clean with the window down then spray the rubber channel that the glass sits in with a silicon or PTFE spray

when was the last time the car was hand-washed??

Sounds like the windows lost their calibration, try opening them by holding the button, do not use the auto function. Then hold the button in the open position foor 10 seconds and close it the same way by keep holding the button and keeping it in the closed position for ten seconds.
