Hi everybody,

I have a problem when it comes to programming a new (used) key fob for my 2006 Corolla Verso. Using the commonly known "Chicken dance" I was able to program it to the central locking but I can't get the car into programming mode for the immobilizer.

Here's how it should work:

1. Insert and remove working fob 5 times, leave it in the fifth time.

2. Open and close driver side door 6 times, leave it closed the sixth time.

3. Remove old fob, the security light should stay on, now the car is in programming mode.

4. Insert new fob into slot and wait for the security light to turn off. The new fob is now programmed.

I can't get it that far, the light keeps blinking and the new fob will not be programmed to the ecu. I have tried it around 20 Times now with different variations in pace but it won't work, wich is strange since it was no problem programming the new fob to the Central locking.

Any ideas what I'm missing?
